The Verve collection is the perfect watch for any outdoor activity. It is both rugged and light and water resistant up to 200 meters of pressure (20 ATM). Our two luminescence technologies (see below under Dials), provide excellent visibility at night. Although, not a professional diving watch the Verve can be used also for diving or swimming, including in the ocean. It is perfect for boating, biking, jogging, camping, hiking etc… It has a unidirectional rotating bezel to mark times elapsed, like any professional diving watch - a feature that can be used for measuring elapsed time from any time you decide to mark for a multitude of tasks, including how long a certain dish had been cooking.
Cases
The Verve case is made out of a unique composite made of PA Nylon and Carbon fiber for extreme strength. Its interior is reinforced with a stainless steel encasing. The screw-down, grenade finish, stainless steel crown and the gaskets in the back and front provide the Verve line with a 20 ATM (200 meters) water resistance protection and we make sure that every watch is tested for that pressure in a pressurized water tank built for that purpose.
Straps
This Verve model has nylon fabric strap stitched with a genuine leather lining for extra comfort
Dials
We mentioned our luminosity technology in many places in the website. We will repeat once more here: Our non-radioactive colored photo-luminescent technology delivers the world’s highest performing luminous dials. Featuring injection molded plastics and multilayered Superluminova printing, our watches absorb energy from light and use it to emit their own light in dark conditions, staying bright for up to 8 hours - longer than any other watch currently on the market. The bright dials are made from a patented materials matrix containing phosphors doped with rare earth metals including europium and dysprosium (to provide the glow), along with proprietary polymer alloys and specialized colorants. This technology, “Powered by Visible247TM” has been certified safe when used in end products for a wide range of uses, including children’s toys. We use the multilayered Superluminova materials for the dark dials and the Visible247TM technology for the bright dials.
Movement
The Verve line has the industry most robust movement cal. 2117 by Miyota. It is a quartz movement that needs a battery change only every three years when newly installed. Note that individual watches may have batteries installed more than a year ago and you may experience a shorter battery life until you replace it the first time. It has the accuracy of a high quality quartz watch varying not more than +/- 15 seconds per month.
